Scope of application
Vortex flow meter-gas meter IRVIS-RS4 (until 2006, the name VRSG-1) is a complete, complete unit of commercial (technological) gas metering, certified by the State Standard bodies.

 

Modifications

• IRVIS-RS4 is designed for conducting commercial settlements between a gas supplier and a consumer.
• IRVIS-RS4 is available in several modifications that allow you to keep records of various gas media.
• IRVIS-RS4-PPS – measurement of natural gas, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and other purified, drained gases.
• IRVIS-RS4-DDP – measurement of associated petroleum gas, air and other gases with high moisture content and solid impurities.
• IRVIS-RS4-Steam - measurement of water vapor and other gases with a temperature up to +250 ° C.

 

 

The "Pull-Push" version is the measurement of gas flow at the entrance to the CNG station, as well as accounting for direct and reverse currents of the working gas at other facilities.

The principle of operation of the IRVIS-RS4 gas flow meter is based on measuring the frequency of formation of vortices that occur in the gas flow when flowing around a stationary body (vortex generator).
Detection of vortices, depending on the modification of the meter, occurs by two types of sensitive elements: a thermoanemometer and a pressure pulsation sensor.
Due to the fact that the sensitive elements of the vortex detectors are removed from the gas flow and placed in the flow channel of the flow body, IRVIS-RS4 flow meters are characterized by increased resistance to gas pollution.
To bring the measured volume of gas to standard conditions according to GOST-2939, signals from built-in pressure and temperature sensors are used.
